Two people died today as a result of an early morning workplace shooting at a food distribution warehouse in the metro Houston, Texas, area.
The shooting happened around 2 a.m. at the Ben E. Keith Foods warehouse in Missouri City, according to click2houston.com.

Police in Missouri City say that a female worker at the warehouse opened fire while around 20 people were inside the facility.
A male overnight manager was shot multiple times during the incident and died at the scene.
Another employee was shot in the leg and was later taken to the hospital for treatment.
The shooter also died from a gunshot wound at the scene, though it isn’t clear whether the wound was self-inflicted or whether she was shot during a shootout with law enforcement.
Numerous truck drivers were turned away from the facility because of the active shooter situation.
Approximately 100 law enforcement officers from four different agencies responded to the incident.
The motive for the shooting remains unclear.
The incident remains under investigation.
