UPS driver pulls over to pay respect to fallen police officer

A Facebook post about a UPS driver is going viral after the driver took time out of his busy schedule to pay respect to a fallen police officer.

The Facebook post shared by user Haley Harris Smith on July 17 shows a UPS driver standing at attention as a funeral procession for Captain Paul Phillips passes by him in Bartlett, Tennessee.

Smith writes, “While I was in a processional for a fallen officer here in Bartlett, TN, I saw this guy on the side of the road. @ups this guy showed amazing respect. Thank you stranger. Aaron Smith
EDIT:The processional was for Captain Paul Phillips who faithfully served our community with the BARTLETT POLICE DEPARTMENT.”

Since Tuesday, the post has been liked and shared hundreds of times.

Many Facebook users took time out to share their appreciation for the UPS driver’s display of respect.
