Indiana State Police say that a bungee cord is to blame for a multiple vehicle crash on I-465 in Indianapolis last week.
The crash happened in the westbound lanes of I-465 around 2 p.m. on October 17, according to WTHR. Four passenger vehicles and two semi trucks were involved in the crash — and police say that a bungee cord being used to hold down a car’s hood was to blame for all of it.
And the cause of this 6 vehicle crash; a failed bungee cord being used to hold down the engine hood which flew open and the driver lost control. So fortunate there weren’t any serious injuries. Poorly maintained vehicles shouldn’t be driven on the interstate or any other road. https://t.co/WCkF55eIwR
