The Florida Highway Patrol says that the dump truck in this video struck an overhead highway sign because of a malfunction of the hydraulics system.
The crash was caught on camera on the morning of July 25 in the eastbound lanes of I-95 in Broward County, Florida. In the video, you can see the dump truck traveling down the interstate with the bed in the raised position for several seconds before the crash.
After investigating the crash, Florida troopers said that a hydraulics malfunction was to blame for the crash.
