Bakersfield police say that a truck driver will not be charged after a roadside fist fight with a pedestrian was caught on camera.
The incident took place on the afternoon of Wednesday, July 18, in Bakersfield, California, on South H Street near Highway 58.
Bakersfield police say that before filming started, the pedestrian seen in the video jumped on the truck and damaged the vehicle’s mirror, according to local news station KGET. When the truck driver got out to assess the damage, the pedestrian reportedly attacked him. In the video, you can see the truck driver definitively ending the fight that the pedestrian started.
Because neither the truck driver nor the pedestrian wanted to press charges, there is no criminal investigation.
