This morning, a Sutton, Massachusetts, resident caught frightening footage of a school bus carrying 29 students slipping down an icy road and crashing into a car before coming to a stop.
In the video filmed by Cheryl Kearney Katz, you can see the school bus sliding down the hill, hitting a mail box as well as a car before coming to a stop perpendicular from the road.
No one was hurt during the crash.
Sutton Public Schools superintendent Theodore Friend issued a statement blaming the incident on untreated roads: “We are very fortunate that no students or staff were injured during this very scary accident. Unfortunately there were a few back roads that had not been treated before the buses got on the road which caused this accident.”
