Today the Michigan State Police released alarming video of a tow truck driver’s brush with death to remind motorists to slow down and give emergency vehicles room.

The crash took place in Detroit on January 17 around 10:30 a.m. As the tow truck driver is at work with a disabled car in near the Southfield Freeway exit to I-96, a car lost control on an exit ramp and came barreling toward the tow truck.
The tow truck driver spotted the out of control car and was able to get out of the way in time.
The car driver was ticketed for driving too fast for conditions.
