A dash cam catches a woman nearly giving her own life to save the lives of two animals.
The close call occurred in Goochland County, Virginia last week.

According to WTVR, a woman was in the road trying to save a turtle when a forestry truck approached in the opposite lane. The turtle made it to safety, but as the truck advanced, her dog dashed across the road. Instinctively, the woman chased after him, running into the driver’s path.
Luckily, the driver was able to swerve just in time to miss her.
