Mississippi police have shared wild video of a semi truck theft that happened earlier this month in hopes of identifying the suspect.
The Hattiesburg Police Department shared the video on Facebook with the following description of the truck theft:
“Hattiesburg Police are asking for the public’s help in solving a grand larceny auto case, involving a stolen semi-trailer truck.
The incident occurred at Peterbilt, on U.S. Highway 11, on September 10, 2018, around 1 a.m.
The semi-trailer truck was stolen from the business, and found abandoned a short time later in Lamar County, along U.S. Highway 11.
The semi-trailer truck was also damaged in the incident.
We are asking that anyone who can identify the suspect in the video, to please contact Hattiesburg Police or Metro Crime Stoppers at 601-582-STOP.“
