Two million pound load couldn’t make it up a hill. Then a farmer came to the rescue.

A farmer with a John Deere tractor came to the aid of a massive oversized load that needed a little help getting up a Texas hill.

It hasn’t been an easy journey for this giant generator as it makes its way through Texas to its final destination at a power plant at Calaveras Lake in Bexar County. The oversized load weighing a total of 1.8 million pounds can travel only 1 to 4 miles per hour, isn’t allowed on many roads and bridges, and is not permitted to travel at night.

But video shared by Facebook user Becky Weston shows help coming from an unexpected source after the massive load struggled to make it up a hill.

Weston explained, “my friend got a call Sunday morn that they couldn’t make the hill close to Hochheim on 183 so adding one of his tractors got it done but Tuesday they made it through Nixon with no problems haven’t seen any updates today, it is a monster.”

You can see video of the John Deere tractor coming to the rescue below.

I bet the haul company thanked God there was a farmer around!
