14 semi trucks damaged by early morning fire

Twelve trucks burned and two others were damaged by the fire.

Illinois firefighters are investigating the cause of a fire that spread to multiple semi trucks early Monday morning.

Firefighters were called to a vehicle fire at a location in the 2200 block of Graham Street in Bartlett, Illinois, around 2:30 a.m. on Monday, June 17, according to a news release from the Bartlett Fire Protection District.

When firefighters arrived on scene, they found “multiple semi trucks” on fire.

After crews “aggressively attacked” the fire for about an hour, they were finally able to extinguish the blaze.

No injuries were reported.

Firefighters say that 12 semi trucks were involved in the fire and another two semi trucks were damaged by the fire.

The Bartlett Fire District says that the cause of the fire is still under investigation and that damage assessments are not available at this time.
