NASHVILLE, TN — February 7, 2019 — Tennessee-based trucking company Beacon Transport announced that they will be offering up a pay increase for truck drivers with multiple levels of experience.

Effective February 1, Beacon Transport announced that both current and new hire drivers will earn more per mile with top-out pay of up to $0.55 cents per mile (CPM).

Beacon says that all current drivers will earn an extra 2 cents per mile across the board.

New hires will also earn more per mile based on verified experience. New truck drivers with two to four years of experience will now start out earning $0.47 CPM. Drivers with five to nine years of experience will now start earning $0.48 CPM, and drivers with ten or more years of experience can start their careers with Beacon Transport earning $0.49 CPM.

Recruiter Nathan Harper says that the pay increase is just part of the reason that drivers should consider joining the Beacon Transport family. “We’re looking for OTR drivers who are willing to service our customers … we do not micromanage our truck drivers. We run just the Midwest and Southeast, no lanes going to the Northeast. We’re 100% no touch freight and we’ve got 50% drop and hook,” he said.

Beacon Transport is a truckload carrier that was established in June 2000 and specializes in hauling non-hazardous dry freight. They currently operate approximately 200 trucks and 500 trailers and are looking for new truck drivers to join their team. You can call 877-277-0238 to learn more or click here to apply online.
