Car driver cited after getting wedged between semi truck and highway barrier

A motorist was taken to the hospital and recieved a citation after getting wedged between a tractor trailer and a concrete barrier.

The incident happened on Interstate 70 Westbound in Enon, Ohio, on Sunday.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the driver of a black Chevy Cruze was cited for “failure to control” after the car ended up nose-down, wedged between the semi truck and concrete barrier, with its rear wheels in the air.

The Bethel Township Fire Department Clark County Ohio released several photos of the incident, which have gone viral on social media.

The motorist’s identity has not been released. He was taken to a nearby hospital, but the severity of his injuries are not currently known.

The truck driver was not injured.
