Authorities say that two people inside a cargo plane were killed this morning after it crashed into unoccupied semi trucks at an Ohio truck repair shop.
The plane crash happened around 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 11, in Toledo, Ohio.
Authorities say that the cargo plane was nearing the Toledo Express Airport when it crashed into unoccupied semi trucks parked at Bubba’s Diesel and Auto repair shop, which is located east of the airport.

The crash caused large fires that took firefighters hours to extinguish. Multiple fire departments responded to help fight the fire.
Two people inside the cargo plane died in the crash.
No other injuries were reported.
Authorities say that the cargo plane departed from Laredo, Texas, and stopped near Memphis, Tennessee, before making its way to Ohio. The plane is believed to have been transporting auto parts, the Columbus Dispatch reports.
It isn’t clear how much damage was done to vehicles parked at Bubba’s Diesel and Auto.
The cause of the plane crash remains unclear. The National Transportation Safety Board will be on scene to investigate the crash later today.
