Cattle hauler can’t moo-neuver under low bridge

Published:

A livestock hauler was caught on camera crashing into a South Dakota bridge earlier this week.

The incident occurred on Monday at a low railroad bridge in Pierre, South Dakota.

According to local news outlet the Capitol Journal, 59 year old Kansas-based truck driver Rex Birney was hauling cattle when he crashed into the 11 foot 3 inch bridge around 7 p.m.

All of the cattle survived the crash. They were loaded onto another truck.

The bridge strike reportedly did $45,000 worth of damage to the livestock trailer.

This is the fourth truck that has hit the bridge so far this year.

The bridge strike was caught on camera and you can view it below (turn the sound on!).
