A motorist following a semi truck in a snowstorm captured hair-raising dash cam video recently, showing the moment that winter weather sent the truck unexpectedly skidding off of the road.
The video was captured by a car driver in Quebec and shared by the Facebook page Spotted : Dash Cam Québec on Tuesday, January 8.
In the video, you can see both the semi truck and the dash cammer traveling in the left lane of the highway as blowing winds and snow cause partial white-out conditions.
Suddenly, the truck’s trailer skids off the left shoulder of the roadway onto the median, causing the truck to jackknife.
Luckily, both passenger vehicles following the truck manage to avoid crashing and no one appears to have been hurt.
