Truckers live-stream ‘slow roll’ convoy

Troopers are closely monitoring the protest convoy.

A group of truckers are convoying in Indiana today to protest various trucking regulations.

The slow roll protest is happening at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 21 on I-465 in Indiana. Drivers are planning to convoy at speeds of 45 to 50 m.p.h. around I-465 twice, and then end the slow roll at the T.A. truck stop off of I-70 in Clayton.

Indiana State Police are monitoring the slow roll as it happens.  Troopers say that they expect a peaceful protest but that they will be providing extra patrols to make sure everything goes smoothly.

Indiana transportation officials have used electronic signage this week to warn truckers about disrupting the flow of traffic.
