Nevada transportation officials have reopened a major interstate in downtown Reno following a serious semi truck crash.
The crash occurred in the westbound lanes of I-80 at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 24, in Reno, Nevada, according to a report from Fox 11.
Troopers say that a semi truck and a utility van were involved in a collision near Exit 13 that sent that semi crashing into and partially through the median of the interstate.
The crash caused major damage to the truck and caused it to spill its cargo into the lanes of the interstate.
No injuries were reported.
The crash caused serious traffic delays as it shut down all westbound lanes of I-80 and some lanes of eastbound I-80. Transportation officials were able to reopen all lanes by morning rush hour on Monday, March 25.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
