The trucks are considered a total loss.

Authorities in Indiana say that they are investigating the cause of a fire that destroyed multiple semi trucks at a truck stop over the weekend.

The fire was reported just before 8 a.m. on Sunday, March 24, at the Flying J Travel Center in Lake Station, Indiana, according to the NWI Times.

When fire fighters arrived on the scene, they found four semi trucks parked closely together that were on fire.

No injuries were reported, but all four trucks are considered to be a total loss.

Firefighters were able to keep the blaze from spreading to other trucks and the truck stop facility. The fire was contained after about 35 minutes.

Many locals reported that the smoke was visible from several miles away.

Police and fire officials from multiple departments are working to determine the cause of the destructive blaze. Lake Station Fire Chief Chuck Fazekas said of the fire that “there were drivers who were there overnight, and we have no idea what caused it.”
