An Illinois trucking company has gone above and beyond to pay their respects to police officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty.
Rockford, Illinois, trucking company Meiborg Bros. Inc. recently unveiled photos of a custom truck decked out in black, white, and blue, featuring a “thin blue line” American flag to represent the sacrifices that law enforcement officers make for their country.
Meiborg Bros. named the Jaime Cox Foundation as part of their inspiration for the custom truck and trailer. Jaime Cox was a Rockford Police Officer who died in the line of duty in November 2017. The Jaime Cox Foundation works to help first responders, veterans, and underprivileged children.
Meiborg Bros. writes, “Thank you to all law enforcement past and present for all you do for the communities you serve!”
Meiborg Bros. says that they’ve received words of thanks from law enforcement families for paying respects to fallen officers. They even shared a note that was left on the truck by a grateful member of the public who spotted the truck while it was out on the road.
