The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has closed down both directions of I-35 for a suspect shooting at vehicles.
The shooting was reported on the morning of Monday, June 10, on I-35 in northeastern Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, according to KFOR.
Initial reports indicate that a man was shooting at vehicles at I-35 and N.E. 10th Street. At least four vehicles were reportedly struck by gunfire.

When police arrived on the scene, they realized that the suspect was standing on the shoulder of the interstate. Officers and the suspect exchanged gunfire and the suspect was struck. Police say that the suspect died at the scene.
Both directions of I-35 are shut down for the incident. Drivers are asked to avoid the area.
Police believe that a tanker truck may have been hit by the shooter.
The incident remains under investigation.
