Semi trucks on fire at Love’s truck stop

Published:

Houston firefighters responded to a truck stop fire involving semi trucks this afternoon.

The fire was reported at the Love’s truck stop location off I-45 in northern Houston, Texas, on the afternoon of Thursday, July 25, according to the Houston Chronicle. At least two semi trucks were reportedly damaged by the blaze.

The Houston Fire Department tweeted: “Appears to be in the back area, perhaps a trailer or pump – not main building. Expect traffic issues near the intersection of Patton and I 45 frontage and Patton/Fulton by light rail.”

No injuries were reported and there is no damage to the property.

Investigators are working to determine what caused the fire.

This is a developing story.
