Multiple Semis On Their Sides After Storm Rolls Through Iowa

Published:

The Iowa State Patrol reported multiple semi truck blow-overs caused by high winds this morning.

On the morning of Tuesday, August 20, wind speeds in excess of 60 miles per hour were reported in parts of Iowa as severe thunderstorms rolled through the area.

Troopers say that high winds were responsible for tipping over four semi trucks on I-80 at mile marker 80, near the Adair rest stop.

Minor injuries were reported.
