Pilot Flying J has announced that they’ll be opening up six new location in western Texas this year in order to serve oilfield workers.
Pilot says that the six new stores will bring with them a total of 250 new truck parking spaces.
Three of the new locations already opened in June. A Flying J Travel Center opened in Kermit, Texas, and Pilot Travel Centers opened in Midland and Monahans, Texas.
Amenities at the Kermit location include 81 truck parking spots, a Dunkin’ Express restaurant, 8 diesel lanes, 8 showers, and a CAT scale.
Amenities at the Midland location include 40 truck parking spaces, a Dunkin’ Express restaurant, 7 diesel lanes, 5 showers, laundry facilities, and a CAT scale.
The Monahans location will feature 79 truck parking spots, Dunkin’ Express, Mama Deluca’s, and Subway restaurants, 7 diesel lanes, 5 showers, and a CAT scale.
Later in the year, Pilot plans to three open new stores in Odessa, Midland, and Andrews, meaning that Pilot will be opening two locations in Midland this year.
