Police hunting for pickup driver who shot at semi

The pickup driver was reportedly angry about being cut off.

Kentucky police are asking the public for help in locating a motorist who they believe shot at a truck driver during a road rage incident.

The shooting occurred on Tuesday, December 17, according to a release from the Scott’s County Sheriff’s Office.

Police say that the incident occurred northbound on I-75 at mile marker 141 when “a tractor trailer traveling North advised the below vehicle became angry when he was cut off in traffic. The driver of the newer Chevy truck then fired a firearm into the passenger compartment of the tractor trailer.”

No injuries were reported.

Police were able to obtain images of the truck from another vehicle’s dash cam.
