Popular truck stop adds paid reserve parking

The rate is $15 per night.

A major Oregon truck stop has announced that they will be offering paid “reserve parking” options for truck drivers in addition to their free truck parking.

Jubitz Travel Centers, located off I-5 in Portland, announced on August 1 that they are now offering 18 paid reserve truck parking spaces in the main lot.

The company says, “While Jubitz has the largest truck parking in the Pacific Northwest, our lot still fills up. We’re thankful that Jubitz is a popular stop for so many drivers, but we know that it’s frustrating to arrive at a truck stop and have no parking available.”

The reservations can be made through an online portal (not by phone, email, or in person) and the daily rate is $15.

Jubitz says that they will continue to offer more than 250 truck parking spaces for free on a first come, first served, basis.
