Police say that a pair of sideshows (if you’re not familiar with the term, think unsanctioned car stunt display) took place on the afternoon of Saturday, July 13, in Sacramento. In video captured at the scene, you can see traffic blocked off as car drivers performed donuts and other stunts on the interstate.

Authorities say that about 50 vehicles were involved in the sideshows and that they lasted several minutes. The first occurred just before 4 p.m. in the area of National Drive and North Market Boulevard. The second happened hours later on northbound I-5 at Florin Road.

Police say that seven people were arrested, 27 citations were issued, and 9 vehicles were impounded as a result of the sideshow, KCRA reports.
