New reports say that the star of the cult classic trucking movie “White Line Fever” has passed away at the age of 74.
On Friday, March 8, entertainment news site TMZ reported that Jan-Michael Vincent passed away as a result of a heart attack at a North Carolina hospital on February 10. Vincent’s death had not previously been publicly reported.
While Vincent starred in several high profile movies and television shows like “Airwolf” and “The Mechanic”, he is best known in the trucking community for his starring role as Carrol Jo Hummer in the 1975 movie “White Line Fever.” In the film, Hummer, who wants to become an owner operator, declares war against corruption and racketeering in the long-haul trucking business.
Vincent’s last role was in the 2002 film “White Boy.” He is survived by his wife Patricia.
