‘Straight line winds’ topple seven semis on I-40

Tennessee troopers say that windy conditions were to blame for multiple trucks that overturned on I-40 over the weekend.

The blowovers were reported on Saturday afternoon in Decatur and Henderson Counties, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol.

Troopers said that “Straight line winds have overturned approximately 7 semi trucks” along I-40.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
