‘That is our livelihood’: Couple pleads for help recovering stolen semi

A couple is asking the trucking community for help in locating their stolen semi truck.

Shawn and Aimee Lawlor Shreffler put out a call for help in finding their stolen truck on Facebook after it was stolen from a T/A truck stop in Ashland, Virginia, on Saturday, April 6.

Aimee wrote:

“Please share. Our world has just been turned upside down. Shawn’s tractor trailer was stolen. That is our livelihood. We just want to die right now. Last seen at 330 Saturday afternoon . Stolen from Ashland, Virginia TA (truck stop) Last pinged at 658 am Sunday morning near Emporia. Please call 804-516-3829 with any info 2015 Peterbilt 389 with dual chrome stacks. Indiana plates. Yellow J.B. Hunt lettering on drivers side cab. Please call police immediately if you see it, or think you see it.”

Since Sunday, Aimee has shared several posts indicating that she has had tips that the truck has been spotted.

Aimee has also shared a heart-rending post about the toll that the theft has taken on her family.

If you see the truck, there Shrefflers are asking that you take a photo and call the police immediately.
