The aftermath of a recent car hauler vs. semi truck crash looks downright gory, but Nebraska State troopers say that not everything is as it seems.
On August 18, the Nebraska State Patrol shared a Facebook post (that soon went viral) featuring photos of an apparently grisly truck crash — and the surprisingly sweet explanation for the red gunk covering the truck.
They write:
A crash between a car hauler and a truck carrying peanut butter and jelly makes for a gruesome-looking scene, but we promise nobody was hurt. That is just jelly. Lots of jelly.
The jelly was reportedly strawberry. This happened today near Chappell on I-80.
Facebook users were delighted (and relieved) by the post and jokes ensued.
