Minnesota troopers were able to provide help for a truck driver who was seen swerving across lanes for several miles this morning.

The Minnesota State Patrol responded to multiple calls about a swerving semi truck on Highway 169 in Shakopee this morning according to a report from KARE11.

In video captured by MnDOT cameras, you can see the semi truck weaving in and out of traffic for several miles.

Eventually, the trucker was able to pull off of the right shoulder near the County Road 83 Exit, but swerved back into traffic. A state trooper pulled his cruiser in front of the semi truck and it came to a stop.

Troopers say that they believe that the trucker was suffering from a medical emergency and he has received treatment from EMS workers.

No one else was injured.

The incident remains under investigation.
