A truck driver lost his life yesterday when a large piece of stone that he was hauling fell off of his truck at a business in Dallas, Texas.
The incident happened just before 2 p.m. on Wednesday, September 25, at a commercial and residential stone retailer called Infinity Stone located in the 9100 block of Sovereign Row in Dallas.
Authorities say that a flatbed truck driver was delivering a load of stone to the business when at lease one large slab of stone fell off of the truck and onto the driver as he stood outside his vehicle.
Dallas Fire-Rescue was called to the scene and found the driver deceased at the scene.
So far, police have released few details about the incident, which remains under investigation.
The identity of the truck driver has not been released. Police have also not provided information on what caused the stone to fall off the truck.
