The Arkansas Department of Transportation blamed a semi truck crash and a resulting fireball on the truck driver’s confusion about her route.
The crash happened on the afternoon of Sunday, June 23, in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Authorities say that a mail truck struck a guardrail on a bridge over I-440 because the driver “couldn’t decide which ramp to take and ran out of time before making a decision.”
Slow-going at the South Terminal Interchange. This mail truck couldn’t decide which ramp to take and ran out of time before making a decision. #artraffic is moving but slowly. Expect delays on I-440 and I-30. #ARnews https://t.co/HW2KmKkWZq pic.twitter.com/c56zc1bTJ6

The collision caused the cab of the truck to separate from the trailer.
Authorities also said that one of the fuel tanks fell off of the truck and dropped down onto I-30, causing a fireball. Another tank leaked fuel.
