Trump pays visit to Minnesota truck dealership

Published:

Workers at a heavy duty truck dealership were treated to a visit from President Trump on Monday as he delivered a message about taxes.

On the afternoon of Monday, April 15, President Trump made an appearance at Nuss Truck and Equipment in Burnsville, Minnesota. During the visit, Trump sat near a displayed Mack truck and a Volvo loader and addressed a crowd of approximately 300.

The purpose of the visit was to conduct a roundtable discussion on the economy and tax cuts passed in 2017.

While at the event, Trump discussed topics ranging from business growth to the economic plight of farmers to the burning of the Cathedral of Notre Dame.

While Trump did not address many trucking topics, he did tell the assembled crowd that he had “been on many a truck.”
