Veteran trucker tells car drivers to ‘stay away’ — especially on icy roads

A truck driver with more than 3 million miles under his belt recently shared some words of warning for motorists who drive on icy roads.

With ice storms a-plenty this winter season, a trucker with over 3 million miles under his belt has a message to drivers getting out on the icy roads – “give me more room!”

This driver, Robert McWilliams, gave KSN News some sound advice for other drivers trying to get around on snow covered highways.

McWilliams says he refuses to drive on ice and blowing snow.  He also noted that many car drivers are “too busy starin’ at their phones.”

He continues to share his concerns on being a truck driver in the winter, “everybody else seems to be in a hurry on ice, I’ve never seen anything like it”.
