A female motorist who got lost and found herself stuck in a ditch shared the story of the truck driver who came to her rescue.
Facebook user Samantha Boomer shared the story of her encounter with truck driver Joel Lewis on June 3.
She writes:
I took a wrong turn coming out of the Ocala National Forest today. As I turned around I ended up in a ditch, phone reception wasn’t great, and rain clouds rolling in. During the span of about 15 minutes 20 cars must have passed on a single line highway. After a while of trying to drive the car out a giant truck pulls up. A guy jumps out with a big smile, he grabs a strap and gets underneath my car and proceeds to pull my car out of the ditch. Joel – thank you for stopping and being my angel today. My heart is so full of gratitude . With all the tension in the world right now I got back in my car and burst into tears – love wins. Now to pay it forward…
