This video teaser will get you ready for an upcoming film billed as a tribute to Burt Reynolds and the classic trucking movie “Smokey and the Bandit.”
The movie is called “Stand On It” and it is being independently produced by actor John Schneider, who made a brief appearance in the original “Smokey and the Bandit.” Schneider says that the movie is inspired by his friendship with Burt Reynolds and Hal Needham.
Schneider says that a full trailer for the movie will be out soon. He explained, “the movie will come out on our streaming service called CineFlixdod.com early in the fall. Then it will be available on DVD and we’re also talking about bringing it to drive-ins with not only a concert before but we’re gonna be bringing one of the cop cars as well as the Challenger!”
