Children, drivers, uninjured after semi truck & school bus collide

No injuries have been reported following a crash between a school bus and a semi truck in Indiana early Monday morning.  

The crash happened on October 5th at around 7:20 a.m. in Roanoke, Indiana. 

According to CBS 15 News, the Canterbury Schools bus was on Highway 24 near County Road 900 North when it crashed with a semi truck. 

Luckily, the Huntington County Sheriff’s Department has deemed the incident a “property damage accident,” meaning that no injuries were sustained in the crash. 

Motorists were asked to avoid the area as Roanoke Police, Indiana State Police and Roanoke Fire personnel worked to clear the wreck, but the roadway has since been reopened. 

Police have not indicated who was ‘at fault’ in the incident, and information on citations issued as a result of the accident has not been released.
