CLOSURE: Ramps connecting I 15 to I 91 shutdown in So Cal for emergency repair

A need for emergency repairs has forced the closure of ramps connecting northbound Interstate 25 to eastbound Interstate 91 in southern California on Wednesday.

The repairs and subsequent closure will take place November 4th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Corona, California, and will also shut down the Magnolia Avenue on-ramp to northbound I 15.

According to The Press-Enterprise, the shutdown is necessary in order to repair damage done on Tuesday, November 3rd, after a semi truck crashed into the bridge connecting I 15 north to I 91 east, destroying 50 feet of barrier wall.

Details surrounding this incident have not been released.

Officials are advising drivers to take Magnolia Avenue to McKinley Street to reach the 91 Freeway, or exit at Hidden Valley Parkway and head south on the 15 to reach the 91.
