CMV driver was stopped for seatbelt violation, but Georgia cops find so much more…

The Georgia Department of Public Safety stopped a commercial vehicle driver for a simple seatbelt infraction but ended up discovering a host of violations.

The Georgia Department of Public Safety put a driver on blast with one of their “Violation of the Week” Facebook posts.

They wrote:

The driver of this CMV was stopped for not wearing his seatbelt. During the inspection, the Officer smelled the odor of marijuana, which lead to the discovery of suspected marijuana, two different narcotics, two firearms, and the driver was a convicted felon. The driver was also placed out service for not having an Electronic Logging Device. #gamccd
