Cops seek suspect who opened fire on big rig ‘multiple times’ on I-40

After a semi truck driver was the victim of an interstate shooting over the weekend, Memphis police are asking for public help in locating a suspect or suspects.

The shooting occurred on June 20, 2020, at I-40 and Smith Avenue in Memphis, Tennessee, according to the Memphis Police Department.

The truck driver wasn’t hurt, but the truck was hit by bullets.

Authorities say that the suspect vehicle last seen eastbound on I-40 towards the Watkins Rd. exit.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 901-528-2274 (CASH).
