A truck driver was killed early Wednesday morning after going off the side of a highway ramp and falling onto the roadway below.
The crash occurred around 4 a.m. on December 9 at Kansas Highway 7 and Kansas Highway 10 in the Kansas City suburb of Olathe, Kansas.

Police say that a FedEx semi truck was on the ramp from K-7 to K-10 when it crashed off the side of the ramp and plummeted onto K-10.
The truck caught fire soon after the crash.
By the time that rescue crews arrived at the scene, the truck driver had passed away.
No other vehicles were involved and no one else was hurt.
The identity of the truck driver has not yet been released.
The crash remains under investigation.
Both directions of K-10 are closed and are expected to remain shut down through 11 a.m. or noon. K-7 is open.
