Georgia police share dash cam video of crash that led to truck driver’s DUI charge

The Dunwoody Police Department shared video of a serious two truck crash that ended in a DUI charge for one of the drivers.

The crash was caught on camera around 2:15 p.m. on Tuesday, October 27, on westbound I-28 at Ashford Dunwoody Road in the Atlanta suburb Dunwoody, Georgia.

The Dunwoody Police Department detailed the fiery crash:

The investigation revealed that the driver of one of the tractor-trailers failed to maintain his lane of travel and collided with second tractor-trailer. The collision caused both trucks to strike the median wall and both tractor-trailers caught fire. Thankfully, no injuries were reported. The driver of the tractor-trailer that caused the crash was arrested and charged with DUI. This crash caused extreme traffic delays for several hours.

The charged truck driver was identified as 41 year old Jeremy Michael Crouch.

Police said that dash cam video of the crash was captured and shared by a motorist.
