Iowa sheriff is inches away from a ‘deadly outcome’ with a semi in dash cam video

An Iowa law enforcement agency shared scary video of an incredibly close call with a semi truck.

The dash cam clip was shared earlier this week by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office, who wrote:

At approximately 1:51am on 9-12-2020, a Tama County Deputy was involved in a motor vehicle accident involving a semi. The Tama County Sheriff vehicle sustained disabling damage to the rear drivers side.

As seen in the video, this accident could have very easily had a deadly outcome.

It’s important to remember that distracted, impaired, and/or tired driving can have serious consequences, especially in adverse weather conditions. If you are not fit to drive, don’t drive.
