A Florida man is accused of beating his wife, then pushing her in front of a truck on Interstate 75.

The incident occurred at approximately 9:30 a.m. on Thursday in Pasco County, Florida.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a motorist who witnessed the event said that the victim was driving a Dodge Ram pickup truck. The motorist said that the pickup truck blew a tire and the pickup’s passenger, Joey Morgan, grabbed the steering wheel, causing the truck to almost lose control.

The victim was able to steer the pickup onto the shoulder of southbound I-75.

The Florida Highway Patrol said that the Morgan and the alleged victim began fighting in the truck. Morgan allegedly exited the truck and then walked to the driver’s side and pulled the victim by her hair out of the vehicle.

Morgan then allegedly headbutted the woman a couple of times and then began punching her. He then tried to push the victim into the path of an oncoming semi. Fortunately, the truck driver was able to swerve out of the path and did not strike the victim.

Morgan then allegedly told the victim, his wife of 12 years, that he was going to kill her, then he fled from the scene. He remains at-large.
