A man built a solar-powered truck to travel across the country.
Joshua Seth Hill, a former solar panel industry worker, told KVOA that he wanted to know why cars and trucks don’t utilize solar power. After not being able to find whether or not a solar powered vehicle has been created, Hill set out to create his own.
Like many others, Hill parks at truck stops throughout his journey.
“You go through truck stop, you have tons and tons of generators and trucks running all night,’ Hill told the news station, “if they’ve been charging all day off solar, they can be using that electricity all night.’
