Border authorities in Arizona say that the recently seized hundreds of pounds of illegal drugs from a tractor trailer.
The drug bust occurred over the weekend at the Port of Nogales in Arizona, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Director of Field Operations Guadalupe H. Ramirez.
Ramirez says that CBP agents seized 563 lbs of methamphetamine hidden within the floorboard of a tractor trailer.
The estimated street value of the seized drugs is $563,000.
“Officers remain vigilant, great work Nogales!” Ramirez said.
