Multiple trucks destroyed in overnight fire at Texas truck stop

Authorities in Texas are investigating an overnight fire that damaged or destroyed multiple semi trucks at a Flying J location early this morning.

Firefighters were called to the Flying J truck stop located in Anna, Texas, around 3 a.m. on Friday morning.

Crews were able to put out the blaze, but not before three trucks were completely destroyed and another two damaged in the fire.

No injuries were reported.

Multiple fire departments assisted in the response to the fire, including the Anna Fire Department, the Melissa Fire Department, the Van Alstyne Fire Department, the Westminster Fire Department, and McKinney Fire Department.

The Collin County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
