Oregon troopers release dash cam video to try to identify truck driver after hit & run

Published:

Oregon State Police (OSP) say that they are trying to locate a truck driver who was involved in a crash caught on dash cam near La Grande.

OSP says that the crash occurred at 5:47 p.m. on April 29 on I-84 near mile marker 277.

Troopers say that when they arrived on the scene after the crash, they found 56 year old Robert Floyd in a crashed car in the median. Floyd suffered minor injuries in the crash.

Floyd told troopers that he was passing a semi truck when it changed lanes into him, causing him to lose control and roll several times before coming to a stop in the median.

OSP says that the truck that they are looking for did not stop after the crash and has Ontario plates.

If you have information on the crash, you’re asked to contact the OSP Dispatch at 1-800-442-2068.

OSP was able to obtain dash cam footage of the crash from a trucker who was not involved. You can view it below.
